New Year, New YOU:
What to Do When Diets Don’t Work

Find Hope this January at Green Mountain at Fox Run

Going into a new year can be exciting – new goals, a fresh start, new motivation. But so many New Year’s resolutions revolve around the latest fad diet or exercise program.
New Year, New Rules

How many times have you made a new diet resolution for the new year, only to “fall off” by the end of January? It’s not your fault. Simply put, diets don’t work. Diets typically focus on restrictions – sugar, carbs, fats, etc. But the more we deprive ourselves of a restricted food, the more we want it…and eventually, we give in and often overeat those very foods that we’ve been trying to avoid.

And if weight loss is attained through dieting, it often isn’t lasting. In fact, research clearly shows that the majority of people gain back weight lost through dieting, and many of those gain more back than they lost.

The good news is, there is a sustainable answer that will work for you.
