We all know there are major benefits to strength training: to build muscle strength and endurance, develop strong bones, aid healthy weight management, reduce risk of energy, and help manage some chronic conditions.
But sometimes life gets in the way and strength training falls down the list of priorities. It happens to us, too. At Green Mountain, we give our participants many tools and ideas to fit it in — at your desk, on the phone, while traveling, with different equipment, without equipment, etc. But at the end of the day, if you only have time to get down the basics, there are four moves you need to know. These four moves that we call “power moves” work all the major muscle groups of your upper and lower body, eliminating the need for separate moves for each of the muscles.
