Green Mountain is, without question, an ideal weight loss and wellness retreat if your own well being is what you really want. For the first time in my life I’m eating like a thin person. What I learned at GMFR is that when nothing is forbidden you can’t “blow” or “go off” a diet and whatever you eat now does not need to impact what you eat next. I have consistently been losing 7 pounds a month for four months and even lost a little while I was away for ten days over Christmas. There is no question that this is a place to indulge yourself, but the indulgence is taking the time to figure out what you need and work with wise counselors to help you find strategies to make it happen.
