Fitness Friday: Take A Walk with Me

knows I was coming.

Fitness Friday

It’s been a long winter just about everywhere, and Vermont has been no exception. But spring is finally here! This morning birds were merrily singing outside my window and the sun invited me to come outside to take a walk.

For those of us in the North, it’s exciting to think of all the outdoor activities we can do in the coming months. Snowshoeing and skiing are a blast and Vermont is truly a winter wonderland, but there’s also nothing like hiking, biking, kayaking, gardening!

Fitness Outdoors

If it’s going to be nice where you are this weekend, get outside! I am pledging to go for two walks in the nearly 60-degree weather! Buttermilk Falls and the Hawk Walk are calling my name!

I can think of nothing better for my spirit, my outlook, my Vitamin D levels and to renew my appreciation for the beauty of Vermont.

Will you pledge to take a walk, too? Tell me where you will go.
