Salsa Momma


We all know America is a melting pot. Well, the Library of Congress is a terrific resource for recipes from a variety of ethnic traditions and cultures. The name of this Mexican salsa recipe makes me wonder if  the spices won’t have you and your friends soon dancing the salsa in the New Year either!


12 Roma Tomatoes
4 Jalapeños peppers
Garlic salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Fresh Cilantro
Freshly squeezed juice from 1/2 lime


Clean and slice the tomatoes and peppers and place them inside your food processor. Add the black pepper, garlic salt, fresh cilantro and lime juice into the processor and chop. You can eat it right then or chill it. Either way, it taste great and your friends and family will love it.
