Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance

Because I don’t watch television much (I keep my head buried in mystery novels), I hadn’t heard of Mo’Nique and her show F.A.T. Chance on Oxygen. The show is self-described as ‘television’s first full-figured reality beauty competition” that encourages “women everywhere to accept and embrace their curves.”  It’s about “teaching plus-sized glamour girls to love and feel good about themselves (and their bodies) as they are” — that is, self and size acceptance.

We couldn’t have said it any better…and LOVE the videos Mo’Nique shares on her website.  For a fun and self-esteem-building session on the web, check the one titled Mo’Niques’s Dance.  It’s fabulous!
