Rachel is a Green Mountain alumna that returns to Green Mountain regularly. Not because “it didn’t work” so to speak, but because it DID work. Our program has made such a powerful difference in Rachel’s life that she looks forward to returning as a form of self-care – her own way of re-energizing, falling back in love with movement, and connecting with other like-minded women.

What happens when you come back to Green Mountain?
Every time I come to Green Mountain, I’m re-energized by my connection with other women, with my desire to move, and I remember how much I love to move. I remember how much I like to exercise in those ways that are fun.
The drumming. The Tabata I want to do that! For me Green Mountain [is] so re-energizing.
What would you say to someone considering a visit to Green Mountain?
They can pretty much guarantee that some part of their existence will be transformed. Whether it’s how they’re dealing with food, how they’re dealing with movement, with their body, or understanding nutrition.
It’s very powerful.
Why does Green Mountain work?
Green Mountain works because they’re dealing with us as complete human beings. It’s a holistic approach. We’re getting information about all parts of our lives – all parts of our body. That’s how it has to be. You can’t just do a bootcamp and lose a little weight and think that somehow that’s going to change how you are in the world. Where as this…this is different.
