Fitness Friday: My Summer Workout Playlist

Summer music workout playlist Ah, other than blue skies and warmer weather, one of the other things that makes me look forward to working out is a brand spankin’ new playlist. Good music makes every class more fun, every walk feel shorter, and every set of repetitions feel more doable. Don’t you agree?

Earlier this year I posted one of my favorite workout playlists, and I’ve spent the past few months trolling the internet and my collection for catchy new (and old) tunes, and I think I found some you’re gonna like, though admittedly it’s a very random mix. So, without further ado, here’s my summer 2013 workout playlist. I hope you will listen and let me know what songs you like.

Please also share your must-have workout songs in the comments because I’m still adding music to this list!

“Two Fingers” by Jake Bugg

“Doom and Gloom” by The Rolling Stones

“I Love It” by Icona Pop

“Lola” by Mika

“Dance Again” by Jennifer Lopez (feat. Pitbull)

“One Life Stand” by Hot Chip

“Pon de Floor” by Major Lazer

“Papa Was a Rolling Stone” by the Temptations

“Tambourine” by Eve

“Thrift Shop” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

I love the theme tune from Rocky and I also have on my playlist Let’s Dance by David Bowie. Agree with Lisa on the links to the songs.
