Green Mountain at Fox Run has an immediate opening for a Resident Advocate. This is a great opportunity for anyone, such as a college or graduate student, that is seeking the opportunity to work part-time (PT) hours, receive some income and have time to pursue academic studies.

We are seeking an experienced, mature, confident, organized, and friendly front desk & guest relations representative for a variety of scheduled shifts consisting of week nights, week days, and every other weekend. This is a 4-month resident position that provides, in addition to full room and board, paid PT guest services hours with earnings up to $275 a week. Position is renewable every four months, based on performance, business need, and interest.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and service to our resident guests by being available to them
  • Provide transportation for our participants to facilities in the surrounding area
  • Provide On-Call hours during the day and evening a few days a week and per a predetermined schedule
  • Provide administrative and general office services as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • 1 year Experience in a resident leader position
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Background check

Position Reports to: Director of Finance & Administration


  • Shared guest toom accommodations with another Resident Advocate and all meals provided
  • $15.00 an hour for all office and front desk services provided (approximately 20-25 hrs/week)
  • Part-time, Non-Exempt, No Benefits

Clinical Therapist

Green Mountain at Fox Run’s Women’s Center for Binge and Emotional Eating in Ludlow, Vermont provides clinical services and case management support for clients dealing with disordered eating behaviors and are working towards Healthy Weight and Wellness.

The Clinical Therapist focuses on meeting thresholds for clinical outcomes using mindfulness based interventions and the Green Mountain Treatment Model (GMTM), which combines evidence-based clinical methods with Green Mountain’s philosophy of 43 years.

The candidate will have an interest in eating disorder specialization training, and a passion for creating a safe, positive healing experience for women who struggle with eating and weight.

Work Listing:

Strategic Work:

  • The Therapist will have a strong desire to be mentored in the GMTM, having a passion for women who suffer from binge and emotional eating with intention to specialize in binge eating disorder.
  • The Therapist will collaborate with the Clinical Director on ongoing improvement of program development, client curriculum and program protocols.
  • Participate in marketing efforts through thought leadership in women’s issues including body positive and eating related treatment topics.
  • Willingness to learn the GMFR philosophy, grow and invest in the mission and vision of the organization.

Tactical Work:

  • Lead Groups each week that target emotional eating and binge behavior and the strategies for healing.
  • Act as a member of the clinical team, and provide strategic interventions and participate in treatment planning and documentation for clients in daily and weekly settings, crossing over with the Green Mountain at Fox Run program staff regarding clients’ needs in the residential setting.
  • The Therapist will provide individual assessment and individual sessions weekly, providing written reports of assessments and standard documentation of individual sessions; provide referrals to participants for continued counseling; interface with participants’ therapists, as needed.
  • Provide lectures and other services for Green Mountain at Fox Run as a method of introduction and recruitment for GMFR clinical services as well as provide coverage for residential programs as needed.
  • Provide clinical services or groups for outpatient clients from local and surrounding areas, when offered.
  • Participate in on call support consultation outside of scheduled work hours if the need arises.
  • Support GM alumnae and prospective clients by actively participating in webinars, videos and/or writing original content for email campaigns, Facebook, the blog, Twitter and all other company social media outlets. Provide educational and professional outreach when requested.
  • Participate in GMTM training programs and when asked attend industry conferences and workshops that support our evidence based practices and promotion of our programs.


  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Social Work
  • Current VT state licensure or ability to acquire license
  • 5+ years of training and experience working with binge eating disorder and body image and have used the treatment methods used with this population such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness Based approaches(MBSR, MBCT, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills in a classroom setting. Preferred
  • Strong ability to connect and develop therapeutic alliance
  • Eating Disorder Treatment experience Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $62,000.00 to $78,000.00 /year
