I had a wonderful time at Green Mountain. I highly recommend them, not only for what they show you, but for the first time in my life I’m feeling good in my skin, my clothes & my body. What you should know is…I feel this way despite having gained a couple of pounds since I left there last fall. I was experiencing pain, and it turns out I have fibromyalgia & severe osteo-arthritis. This prevented me from following the exercise portion of the program. In fact, I was unable to exercise at all until my MD & I got some medication that worked for pain relief. What’s significant about this is I only gained a couple of pounds instead of the 10 or 15 I likely would have through the winter had I not been conditioned, trained, taught or whatever you want to call it by attending Green Mountain. And I will say it again, despite the weight gain…I feel terrific, I’m okay with it…and now that I’m able to move it’s coming off.
Go, enjoy yourself, immerse yourself and do everything they tell you at least for the time you are there – that will be difficult but beneficial in that you will learn a variety of methods to change a lifetime of what hasn’t worked. And like many other people including myself, you will be changed forever.
