Before going to Green Mountain I had lost all my self confidence and just wasn’t motivated to get out there and be myself. My vision of myself was someone who couldn’t achieve anything and would be stuck in a downward spiral my whole life. At Green Mountain I was surrounded by so many great and wonderful people who had insights into things I never would have thought I could ever be able to do, but I was wrong. Being there taught me how to love myself again, and not only that but how to change my life in order to be happy. Of course it comes with losing weight and inches and I did lose that, but I GAINED knowledge I never had before and with that knowledge I now know how to take care of my body with food and exercise. I tried things like yoga, pliates, and zumba and I liked them! I will be doing them outside of Green Mountain now. One of the biggest things I learned was how to keep calm, not get so stressed and I now have tools that will help me not eat when I’m emotional. I don’t need food anymore to cope with my problems, I’ve learned how to deal with them head on and accept them and fix them in other ways. I was a part of the Healing with Food program at Green Mountain and that is a great program that really gets to the bottom of why you are having problems losing weight. It deals with you as an individual instead of a group of people. The program really pinpointed my needs as to what supplements I should take that will help me. The staff at Green Mountain will really help YOU, what you need and want to do they will help you achieve it. Thanks Green Mountain for changing my life…..I’ll be back!
