To help you put the strategies you learned at Green Mountain in place back at home, we’ve developed two (2) coaching programs so you can choose exactly the type of support you need:

  • Staying the Course at Home – If you would like to continue consulting with one or more of staff members with whom you’ve connected while staying at Green Mountain, this is the program for you.

  • Green Mountain L.I.F.E. Program – Developed by LynnAnn Covell, this program helps provide gentle accountability as you strive to make changes in your life.

Anxious about how to bring home all you learned at Green Mountain?

Our Staying the Course at Home program provides guidance and support to help set you up for success as you navigate the ‘in between’ – that fragile time between letting go of old behaviors and ways of thinking while practicing new ways of living. With this program, you can work with the Green Mountain professional(s) of your choice.

1Behavior Support

Overcoming Emotional Overeating & Binge Eating

shiriShifting our habitual ways of coping takes time.

Shiri Macri, LMHC, our behavior leader, can help support you during the inevitable ups and downs that permeate this process.

Often a familiar voice, unconditional support, and gentle guidance are enough to keep the needle moving in the right direction.

Shiri will help you:

  • Identify and manage emotional and binge eating triggers as they occur at home.
  • Create a lapse prevention and management plan.
  • Develop integrated health-supportive strategies for more effective stress management.

2 Mindful Eating & Nutrition Support

Now What?! Nourishing Yourself at Home

juneJune Lupiani, RD, our nutrition leader, can help you continue the practice of health-supportive, mindful eating at home. She can help you develop and implement strategies that make sense for YOU.

June provides:

  • Guidance on how to integrate health-supportive eating patterns at home without feeling deprived or that you have to eat differently than everyone else.
  • Support on how to continue the mindful eating process amidst personal triggers (for example, eating out, holidays, and social gatherings).
  • Strategies to improve health conditions, such as polycystic ovary syndrome and diabetes, through proper nutrition and without deprivation.


I get it. Working with your hunger rather than against it, and recognizing the foods that you know feel good for you, can be challenging once home, for lots of reasons…starting with the fact that your meals aren’t prepared for you! Let’s continue to work on this together.  – June

Whether it’s strategizing, checking-in, or simply needing someone to listen as you navigate your process of change, the support of professionals who get you can go a long way.

With this package, you’ll work with the leader of the program area you feel you need the most support for at the time, whether it be LynnAnn, June, and/or Shiri.

(Lifestyle Integration for Empowerment)

The L.I.F.E (Lifestyle Integration for Empowerment) Program helps you adapt how you live at home – from time management and prioritizing your self-care, to sustaining the motivation to exercise.

Using her 26+ years of experience at Green Mountain, LynnAnn works as YOUR life coach to create a personalized action plan. Choose to work with her for 3-6 months to implement your plan of action and stay on track as you strive to improve your health and well-being – long-term.

1 Lifestyle Assessment Session

This session begins with an assessment of your current lifestyle. We connect your present patterns of behavior with the different stages of change, to better determine what will work for you at home.

We set goals and create a short-term strategy for achieving those goals. You’ll get a written plan for use at home.

This package includes:

  • One (1) Lifestyle and Goal Setting Session (1 hour)
  • One (1) Written Action Plan

2 3-Month Lifestyle Management Package

This package offers a series of coaching sessions to address specific aspects of your lifestyle that you would like to change or improve.

It includes the Lifestyle Assessment Session as well as additional tools to meet your personal needs.

During the sessions, we review and modify strategies to help you stay on target with your efforts. We troubleshoot challenging areas to keep you going when things get tough.

This package includes:

  • One (1) Lifestyle Assessment Session (1 hour)
  • Three (3) or Six (6) 30-Minute Phone or Skype Sessions – Once or Twice per Month
  • One (1) Lifestyle Management ‘Wrap-Up’ Session (1 hour) to evaluate and update your action plan as needed
  • Three (3) Months of consistent support to help you stay motivated and on track with your health and wellness goals

3 6-Month Lifestyle Integration Package

This package is for those who may know where they want to go, but are unsure as to what they need to do to facilitate needed long-term changes within their current environment.

LynnAnn uses assessment tools to discern challenging areas in your lifestyle that help create a strategy for short- and long-term success.

This package includes:

  • Two (2) Lifestyle Assessment Sessions (1 hour)
  • Twelve (12) 30-minute phone or Skype Sessions – Twice Per Month
  • One (1) Lifestyle Integration ‘Wrap-Up’ Session (1 hour) to evaluate and update your action plan as needed
  • Six (6) Months of consistent support to help you stay motivated and on track with your health and wellness goals
