Janet Warren



Janet is an experienced licensed psychologist who received her doctorate at the University of San Francisco with an emphasis on Behavioral and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She has an extensive background working with individuals and groups in the areas of anger management, stress management and depression.

Janet did her training at the Westside Crisis Clinic and the Depression Clinic at San Francisco General Hospital.  Her post-doctoral work took place at Kaiser South San Francisco in the Department of Psychiatry where she continued to work until she moved to Vermont.

Prior to moving to San Francisco and returning to school for her doctorate, Janet was the Alumni Director at Boston University.  She worked in alumni relations at Boston University for more than ten years, starting as a volunteer coordinator.  She now serves as the Vice Chair of the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company Board of Directors, the coordinator of the Mount Holly annual Photo Contest and calendar, and a mentor to two girls, one in the Mount Holly elementary school and the other at Black River Middle School.  In her spare time, she actively pursues her writing and participates in two writing groups and loves to travel back to “the city by the bay” with her husband every year.
