Program Details

Core Cycle (Week 1-4): Begin your transformation by participating in our nationally renowned 4-week healthy weight management program. Our time-tested, multidisciplinary program offers you:

  • Our cutting-edge nutrition program that moves you away from “cookie cutter” or “quick fix” approaches.  You’ll learn and practice realistic and proven strategies to end food cravings, emotional eating and binge eating.  You’ll begin to develop an intrinsic sense of how to feed yourself well and the motivation to do it, too.
  • A fitness program that meets your individual needs no matter what your current fitness level. Whether you’re already active, have medical complications, or feel "stuck" in a fitness rut, we’ll provide an enjoyable fitness experience that challenges you just enough.
  • Proven techniques for thinking differently to help you move past the common "all-or-nothing" attitude and perfectionism that often stands in the way of successful change. You’ll begin to think in a way that creates the change you’re looking for.

Mentor Cycle (Week 5-8): You’ll establish and meet with your Green Mountain mentor -- a member of our skilled professional team -- to personalize the rest of your stay. You’ll work with her to:

  • Identify problem areas and strategies for overcoming them that you can practice while at Green Mountain. You’ll meet with your mentor weekly to review your progress -- your successes, motivation, special needs.
  • Repeat core program lectures and workshops to identify new ideas and strategies that may help further your progress.  Our lectures/workshops are packed with important information; each time you attend, you may hear important things you missed before.
  • Meet with a Green Mountain personal trainer to assess your fitness progress and activity level to ensure a continued challenging, yet safe and livable, fitness experience.

Masters Cycle (Weeks 9-12): Your work to Sustain the Change™ is the foundation for our Masters Cycle.  You’ll take significant steps towards:

  • Mastering the art and science of mindful eating, habituating your personalized fitness program so that it becomes second nature to you, and creating cognitive shift to enhance self care.
  • Gaining a clear connection to “feeling good,” which becomes the underpinning of your motivation to continue eating well, being physically active, and thinking positively.

You’ll also receive a subscription to our Lifestyle Management Package, which includes a lifestyle assessment session, a lifestyle management session and series of three at-home coaching sessions in the three months after you leave Green Mountain, designed to help you successfully take home all you learned here.
