Lucy Aphramor, PhD, RD

Lucy Aphramor is an honorary research fellow at Glyndwr University in the UK. She is known for her commitment to finding practical ways to bring social determinants of health to bear in a meaningful way in dietetic practice and public health is a sought-after keynote speaker. She has worked in the National Health Service for ten years where she developed and introduced a community-based course that was unique in its new paradigm approach integrating whole-systems thinking into a healthy weight agenda. Subsequently, Lucy established a social enterprise to expand this innovation and the course is now delivered elsewhere in the UK National Health Service and internationally.
