Fitness Friday: Upper Body Strength Training without Equipment Video

by Lisa on January 13, 2012

At Green Mountain at Fox Run, we teach strength training classes using a variety of equipment: Fitballs®, free and machine weights, Spri-tubes®, and Dynabands®. But what if you don’t have equipment – can you still strength train?

The answer is absolutely. Green Mountain fitness specialist Kate Nolte, who previously taught classes on the beach in Mexico, had to become creative in how she trained her clients. Here, she demonstrates a quick and easy upper body strength training routine you can do just about anywhere — your living room, on a beach, while taking a walk, etc. In less than five minutes, you can work your back, shoulders, biceps and triceps without stepping foot in a gym or paying for equipment.
