Back to Basics

by Cindy on January 26, 2010

Well, for some reason which I’m not too sure, I’ve gone and buggered up my back again. So much so, that I’m finding it a bit challenging to sit at my desk and write this post. (pity not required). The two things I am very inconsistent about (stretching and ab work), have taken shape in the form of an aching back.

So, to make it a bit easier on me — and my back — I thought we might revist an aching back blast from the past…

Oh my aching back!

Some great back stretches for the back can be found here.

Ouch! I hope you feel better. I also love Pilates. It’s challenging but afterwards my body feels so stretched out and happy. :)

Pilates is perfect, too, because it focuses on the core, which includes our tummies.

I’m not a big fan of ab exercises or stretching, so it’s nice to get all that done with Pilates. :)

Again, hope you feel better soon!

thanks for all you good wishes. feeling much better today. the sad thing is, i have phenominal exercise professionals who work literally one door down from my office — so getting good advice and care is not the issue. it’s just doin’ it! like anything, when the gain over-rules the pain, our behaviors finally change. (did I just make a rhyme?) ;-)
