When people think of Vermont, they think of beautiful autumn colors, quaint villages, white church steeples and pastures full of charming black and white Ben and Jerry’s dairy cows. (I know they’re called Holsteins for you aggies out there — but does it really matter?). Well, it’s all true and it’s all here right now.
I may not be the best ambassador for Vermont (I’m still a California girl at heart), but one thing you cannot argue is the beauty and charm of New England and in particular my adopted state of Vermont.
For any of you out there who love the outdoors, scenic vistas, beautiful crisp weather and everything that is Autumn, strap on your Polaroid and get out your sneakers and come visit Vermont! In the next two weeks Vermont will see thousands of what are loving known as leaf-peepers, descend upon our state just to take in its natural beauty.

I agree! I live right at the entrance of the Adirondacks in upstate NY (just an hour from VT) and nothing beats the fall colors, absolutely nothing! It’s my favorite time of year.

Yesh! This is the BEST time of year to be in Vermont which is why I’m so glad I got to come during this season. It is beautiful outside. I love that just looking out the window gives me a glimpse of the mountain full of vibrant oranges, yellows, greens, and reds. Soooo pretty!

What a beautiful picture! As a transplanted Northerner, I miss the fall colors more than any other aspect of the seasons.

From everything I’ve seen, Vermont looks amazingly beautiful. I’d love to visit it one day.

I love Vermont. I used to have New England as my region at work, and I went to VT at least twice a year, and at least once in the fall. LOVED IT!! Miss it!

yes, ‘hopeful’ all good places. i went to tennis camp in stowe in the summer years ago and really loved it. other great villages: woodstock, manchester, burlington, weston (great theatre and the vermont country store!) barnard and dorset.
