Bananas with Strawberry Sauce


Bananas with strawberry sauce recipe | Quick, easy, healthy fruit recipeGive mom a break on Mother’s Day with this delicious and easy-to-make bananas with strawberrry sauce recipe, (which is also full of nutrition). Almost fool-proof, kids and Dads alike can quickly prepare it for a special brunch or dessert.  It’s a good way to make use of all the wonderful strawberries of the season.  Add a fresh flower or rose as a garnish for that extra special touch that says ‘I love you’!

(Makes 6 servings)

1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) strawberries
1 tablespoon honey
3 medium bananas
2 tablespoons orange juice
Sour cream or whipped cream, if desired

Puree strawberries in small bowl; mix in honey. Slice bananas into medium bowl. Pour orange juice over bananas; toss. Divide bananas among dessert bowls. Top each serving with about 2 tablespoons strawberry sauce. Top with dollop of sour cream. Serve.
