Over the years as a dietitian, I’ve gotten free subscriptions to a lot of publications, most of which I’ve never bothered to read. Not that they didn’t have good information – I just had too much to do and too little time. You know the drill (as my daughter would say).
But there’s one publication that I’ve gotten for many years now that I always take the time to glance through. And the good news is that you can get a free subscription to it, too.
It’s the newsletter from the American Institute for Cancer Research. It always has a variety of useful articles to remind us of healthy lifestyle strategies as well as great recipes, too.
If you think a newsletter from a cancer organization doesn’t have a lot to do with healthy weight, the fact is that healthy weights are an important factor for cancer prevention. So the lifestyle articles are all about good health, which can help you be at a healthy weight as well as minimize risk for cancer.
